Workshop (or virtual workshop) – A collaborative workspace where managers and team members can work together on related projects and tasks. Workshops have been described as "full-featured chat rooms". They make it easier to keep related information together.
Task - Refers to a task container--- analogous with a manila folder in a paper-based task management system. All work that travels through TeamLeader begins as a simple task. A task serves as a means for capturing user input, as well as a container for all work and files related to the given task.
Project – A task that contain subtasks.
Business Intelligence – Refers to multi-dimensional reports on the TeamLeader knowledgebase, which lend otherwise unattainable insights into performance, bottlenecks, task slippage, etc.
Lifecycle (or workflow) - Refers to an automatic routing sequence as established by the owner/creator of the Lifecycle. This allows a team leader to establish ahead of time the path a task should take. Lifecycle are used to implement workflow.
Plug-in – An ActiveX control that can be attached to a task that is used to hold additional custom information.
