Action Items for Lifecycles

 

After you have created a Lifecycle, you may wish to add features. Highlight the relevant Lifecycle, and click on Advanced, using the Lifecycle Designer.

 

Each Lifecycle stage is associated with a user. By highlighting a stage, you can specify Action Items for the user to carry out, applying their ‘signature’ to indicate completion.

 

For instance, suppose Bob has the stage ‘Check Credit,’ and you want to add some specific action items for his signature.

 

Highlight the stage under Advanced Lifecycle options, and then click on Add Item at the bottom of the screen. Choose an Action Item Name, such as ‘Call the Credit Bureau,’ and then click on Mandatory if this item MUST be signed off before Bob can indicate ‘COMPLETE’ for his stage. If you do not choose Mandatory, the Action Item is optional. You may choose an icon for each Action Item, by pressing Icon button. The icon size should be 16 * 16 pixels. You may remove the icon by pressing Clear button.

 

Note that Action Items will appear in alphabetical order. Thus, if you want a certain sequence of steps, number them as follows:

1. Call Credit Bureau (Mandatory)

2. Check References

3. Ask Lou Smith for help it customer is based overseas (Mandatory).
